Color Consultation and Custom Wood Shutters- Crownsville, MD-  This project's scope encompassed the entire home, including developing paint color schemes for every room as well as specifying and installing custom wood plantation shutters in every window.  A soothing palette of neutrals in varying shades was chosen, creating a comfortable flow from space to space, and letting the client's artwork and furnishings serve as accent colors.  

Custom Plantation Shutters on French Doors- These are measured on site to fit any door handle and configuration.  They blend seamlessly with the client's traditional plantation shutters on the adjacent windows, while providing privacy for the doors.

Living Room and Master Bedroom - Annapolis, MD- Motorized Graber Light Weaves Solar Shades were the perfect solution for this waterfront home.  With the touch of a button, the homeowner can raise and lower the shades, in varying combinations, set to their custom preferences.  Sun sensors were also installed, allowing the shades to open and close when the sun is at its worst, even when the homeowner isn't home to protect their floors and furniture.

When fully raised into the fabric wrapped cassette headrail, the shades are perfectly camouflaged with the window molding, making them very unobtrusive.

Bedroom- Annapolis, MD- Custom-made pleated stationary panels give this room a coastal chic feel.  Designer hardware, custom-cut on site in a cool white finish blends perfectly.  The panels stack off the window, providing maximum view-through to the outdoors. 

A coordinating bedspread was custom-made for this room as well from the same Pindler and Pindler fabric.  A matching welt and pillow tuck complete the look.  When creating your custom bedspread, you choose your own custom quilting pattern, fabric, batting thickness, style, welting, and we will measure your bed on-site before ordering to ensure a perfect fit.

 

Custom Kickpleat Valances - Millersville, MD- A neutral, tone-on-tone trellis print was chosen for these custom kickpleat valances, as well as a scallop bottom edge.  An alternate pleat option, using a medium warm gray fabric was added, providing a nice contrast in between the scallops in this living room and dining room.

Custom Throw Pillows- Custom-made, down-fill throw pillows produced by our workroom.  A lush Kravet chenille fabric was chosen, while silk Stroheim and Roman fringe trim adds a luxurious touch to this pair.  Our pillows and bedding are truly made to order, visit our showroom to choose your fabric, embellishments, pillow style, shape, and fill.  We even can do outdoor pillows for your summer furniture.

Custom Throw Pillows- Another example of custom throw pillows made by our workroom.  These pillows, made with Kravet fabric, with a down feather fill come in a variety of sizes, shapes and trim options to meet your needs. These had been made to match custom dining chairs that we had provided COM fabric for.  Notice the careful attention to centering the pattern's repeat. 

Sunroom - Annapolis, MD- Motorized Hunter Douglas Everwood Blinds were the perfect option for these homeowners.  With the touch of a button, these blinds tilt open and closed depending on the level of privacy desired.  This makes operating the blinds all at once effortless and fast in a room where there are more windows than wall space. Other settings on the remote allow the homeowners to tilt specific blinds together, while leaving others closed.  Everything can be programmed to your custom preferences. 

-The homeowner chose a custom tape for these Everwood Blinds to match their existing furnishings and decor.  With the subtle ikat design, it added a little something extra to this installation. 

Guest Bedroom - Crownsville, MD - Three-finger pleated traversing sheers were the perfect solution for these waterfront sliding glass doors.  A semi-opaque linen with a slight slubby texture was chosen to further a coastal feel, while a decorative wood traversing rod added polish.  The sheers are perfect for privacy and obscuring light when needed, but can be opened to enjoy the beautiful view when needed.

Living Room - Crofton, MD-   Graber Semi-opaque cellular shades were installed to provide extra insulation, keeping the cold out in the winter and the heat out in the summer. 

Family Room - Crofton, MD- Hunter Douglas Applause skylight shades in a high installation.  Controlled with an extension pole, these once impossible to reach windows can now be accessed with ease, allowing the homeowner to open and close the shades depending on the their temperature and light preferences.

Loft - Crofton, MD- Graber semi-opaque cellular shades installed in skylights, provide the ultimate in light control, allowing the homeowners to cut down on glare as well as keep heating and cooling costs down.

Loft - Crofton, MD - An arch-shaped Graber Crystalpleat cellular shade controls light in an irregularly shaped window perfectly, while a cordless cellular shade below provides ease of operation and child safety. 

Master Bedroom - Annapolis, MD, ; A refined, yet casual mood was created through the use of beautiful burlap wallcovering and soft off-white linen pinch-pleated drapery panels.  Designer metal drapery hardware, in an aged brass finish, featuring contemporary finials helped to finish off the look.

Condo - Annapolis, MD- Custom stationary panels with a three-finger pleat gives these sliding glass doors a completed look.  A gorgeous chocolate linen-look fabric adds a subtle texture and warmth.  The window presented unique challenges as there was little mounting room for hardware, so custom ceiling mounted designer wood brackets and rods in an espresso finish provided the perfect solution, while still looking polished.

Condo - Annapolis, MD - Layered window treatments provided this client with daylighting flexibility on multiple sets of sliding glass doors.  Hunter Douglas Applause Honeycomb Vertiglide shades featuring the Duolite option were installed for privacy and light control.

-With both a sheer and semi-opaque side, the client can choose the level of opaqueness depending on his needs.
